How to Enroll

Enrolling with SAE is simple and our staff will be pleased to assist every step of the way!

SAE Institute in Los Angeles takes in new classes every three months, with a class size limited to 35 students per section. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis. Once the registration requirements have been met, seats are granted to applicants on a first come, first serve basis. If a class section is full, the Admissions Department will offer the applicant and alternate time or start date for their desired program.

To study in a Diploma program with SAE-LA applicants will need to:

  • Fill out and mail the application for admission (download the package above)
  • Admissions will then assign a student number and send the applicant information regarding the entrance test and request for a high school transcript (or equivalent) if not provided with the application.
  • Upon receipt of the application and transcript, and passing of the entrance test, Admissions will mail the Enrollment Agreement.
  • Fill out the Enrollment Agreement and mail with the $75.00 non-refundable registration fee to SAE. Once signed, the student's seat is reserved in the class.

To study in a Certificate program with SAE-LA applicants will need to:

  • Fill out and mail the application for admission.
  • Admissions will assign a student number and mail the Enrollment Agreement.
  • Fill out the Enrollment Agreement and mail with the $75.00 non-refundable registration fee to SAE. Once signed, the student's seat is reserved in the class.
  • Certificate programs do not require High School graduate or equivalent, but students must be at least 16 years old to enroll in a certificate program.

International Students

SAE Institute of Technology in Los Angeles is authorized to accept nonimmigrant students into the full-time Audio Technology, and Digital Film Production programs.
